| Just some pictures from Zanzibar. First are from the North of the Island, fantastic diving, then Stone Town. Then the ruins of some palace a sultan had for his harem, complete with pleasure pools. I have to get one of those...pleasure pool and/or harem. Sight of an old slave market, that's one of the cells they were kept in prior to being sold. My henna tattoo, I didn't want one on my back and other than the soles of my feet and my ever-expanding forehead this was the only place left hairless enough to get one. An old fort, and some of the plants on the island, just because I like them. The tour guy at the fort was kind of odd, somehow the english that this local knew, was rhyming cockney. Even the english people I was with didn't have a clue what he was talking about. |
