Egypt and Petra

The temples of Karnak and Luxor. My favorite picture is of Susan squeezing herself into a shady column. Fourty five degree heat will make you do strange things. I had to wonder why there was a construction crane at the Luxor Temple. I assume they've realized what suckers us tourists are, and are just building (i.e. "discovering") more temples and pyramids they can charge admission to.
